Today is my favourite day of the year. The day where the barrier between the land of the living and the realm of the dead temporarily weakens, facilitating a state where both the living and the dead can interact. On the side of the living, pagan practitioners celebrate the end of harvest and prepare for the arrival of winter. For the living who have lost loved ones in the previous year, it becomes a day of seeking closure for those losses, leading to the Festival of the Dead.
