PATREON | Aquaman Review
I realise this review is two years late and on the heels of The Trench (which I was looking forward to) being cancelled. Still, the 2019 Aquaman film by James Wan is, in my opinion, the best DCEU film to date. Talking about it now is still as good as ever.

PATREON | Zack Snyder's Justice League Review
Before I begin this review, I suppose I should start by answering the first question most people probably have:
Is Zack Snyder's Justice League better than the Joss Whedon theatrical cut we experienced in 2017?
In terms of style and tonal consistency, yes. In terms of telling a more complete story, yes. In terms of execution, this is where the mileage may vary.

PATREON | Wonder Woman 1984 Review
Following the success of 2017’s Wonder Woman, Warner Bros knew they had to follow that up with a sequel that continued the titular heroine’s journey in a way that built on the foundation of the first film, but took her in a bolder new direction. The opening sequence of Wonder Woman 1984 does exactly that when it states its new thesis for the film: you have to work for the things you want in life and can’t take any shortcuts to get there!

Patreon Exclusive | Stargirl S01E05: Hourman and Dr. Mid-Nite Review
Stargirl, episode 04 opens to a flashback sequence from nine years ago that gives us a glimpse into Rick Tyler’s past, just moments before his father, Rex Tyler, and his wife Wendi were killed in a car crash just outside their home. Prior to the accident, Wendi leaves her son in her brother’s custody, complete with false documents that present Rick as her brother’s son.

Patreon Exclusive | Stargirl S01E04: Wildcat Review
After a few appearances in the last three episodes, we are formally introduced to Courtney's classmate, Yolanda Montez, who–as it turned out–wasn't always an outcast. Three months prior to Courtney's arrival, Yolanda was actually an outgoing student with ambitions to be elected into Blue Valley High School's student government. She was loved by her family and was even dating her popular classmate, Henry King Jr.

Patreon Exclusive | Stargirl S01E03: Icicle Review
Last week was a wild week for me as Huntress and Justice Society fan, but I am definitely back with another review of Stargirl, and let me just say this one required a rewatch! Not for anything the episode did good, not for anything the episode did bad, but for what it did to shake me to the core with its shocking climax! And let me just say it sent quite a massive chill down my spine! Sit back, relax, and lets get into Stargirl, episode 03, 'Icicle!'

Patreon Exclusive | Stargirl S01E01: Pilot Review
Stargirl, one of 2020’s most anticipated television series, aired its pilot episode early this week, first on the DC Universe streaming service on Monday, then on the CW network on Tuesday, and it became available for online streaming in the US on Wednesday. And, of course, as I duly expected as both a Geoff Johns and Justice Society fan, the pilot episode opened with a bang! Literally! I couldn’t wait to talk about it as soon as I watched it, and in case it needs saying, spoilers ahead!
