After the show, Steve and the other Allied pilots are called to initiate an attack against the Axis powers and seize a new atomic weapon in their possession known as 'the Titan.' Diana knows that if the Titan awakens, Steve and the rest of the Allied pilots' lives will be in danger.
Deciding not to leave anything to chance, Diana takes matters into her own hands by 'commandeering' the only plane available for her to fly. Using the skills and knowledge she acquired from Steve about aviation, Diana takes an experimental plane on its first flight, and together with the Holliday College girls, she goes to the aid of the allied forces. Once there, Diana finds the Duke of Deception one step closer to reviving the Titan by completing its heart with the Baelytus. Without the power of the gods to assist her in her mission, can Diana still be Wonder Woman and prevent the Duke of Deception from ending the world at the completion of a Titan's heart?

Legend of Wonder Woman Gets Volume 2 by DC
It's been known for quite some time that writer and artist Renae De Liz had a sequel planned for her hit miniseries Legend of Wonder Woman, and even pitched another comic that explored the history of the Amazons in depth.
For a while, De Liz was uncertain of the status of her new projects at DC, even with an Eisner nomination for Legend of Wonder Woman for the best digital comic category. Well yesterday, De Liz confirmed and happily announced on Twitter that the second volume of her hit miniseries was greenlit by DC:

Wonder Woman Wednesday: The Legend of Wonder Woman #4 Review
Title: The Legend of Wonder Woman #4
Story: The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapters 10-12
Characters: Diana Prince, Etta Candy, Duke of Deception
Creators: Renae De Liz (writer/artist), Ray Dillon (artist)
Publication Date: April 2016
Available In: Print | Digital
Summary: Diana has left the familiar boundaries of Themyscira and into the world of the unknown. Throughout her life she heard horror stories of constant strife in the outside world and the untrustworthy nature of men. It was assumed that a combination of both ingredients would result in the death of all life in the outside world. But what Diana finds upon opening her eyes in this new world is anything what but the Amazons described.
Even with the existence of strife--the strife known as World War II--the outside world is actually flourishing with life. The sun remains as bright, the grass is just as green on the other side, and the people she meets are full of life, love, and happiness. What is this strange new world and why have the Amazons told her otherwise? As Diana begins her sojourn into the outside world, she meets all kinds of people who will become her greatest friends and allies, and even some of her most dangerous foes. Everyone from the elderly couple that nursed her back to health after a turbulent storm knocked her off course, to the flamboyant Etta Candy and the Holliday Girls, to the infamous agent of Ares, the Duke of Deception!

Characters: Diana Prince, Queen Hippolyta, Alcippe, Antiope, Melanippe, Steve Trevor
Creators: Renae De Liz (writer/artist), Ray Dillon (artist)
Publication Date: February 2016

Summary: Continuing her path to self discovery, young Princess Diana divides her activities between her duties on Themyscira and her apprenticeship under the immortal warrior Alcippe. The immortal warrior herself is not fond of Diana at first--with the young girl symbolising the lowest points of her Queen's life that once led to the fall of the Amazons--but over time acquires respect for her young apprentice.
Despite a growing bond between a mentor and her apprentice, there is, however, a plaguing darkness brewing from within the outside world that is enveloping the island of Themyscira. The darkness is not only corrupting the outside world, but it is also destroying the island of Themyscira from within. As the darkness consumes all that is dear to Princess Diana, she faces new challenges as she must somehow maintain composure while she copes with the loss of her mentor, her aunts' plot to betray her own sister and usurp her place on the throne, as well as protect the first man to arrive on Themyscira in centuries...a mysterious man called Steve Trevor.

Wonder Woman Wednesday: The Legend of Wonder Woman #1 Review
Title: The Legend of Wonder Woman #1
Story: The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapters 1-3
Characters: Diana Prince, Queen Hippolyta, Alcippe
Creators: Renae De Liz (writer/artist), Ray Dillon (artist)
Publication Date: January 2016
Available In: Print | Digital
Summary: Issue #1 begins with the birth of the universe, and with it, the birth of Titans and Gods. With the formation of human civilisation came the rise of the Amazons, their respective culture, and eventual society. Throughout their history, the Amazons have fought in various battles and have served the gods to the point of some women being granted immortality. As the centuries passed on, the Amazonian Queen, Hippolyta, found herself yearning for something more than just eternal life: the gift of motherhood. Her pursuit of motherhood has caused her to make mistakes that brought her into conflict with those who followed her, but still retained the respect of her people.
As mortal Amazons were blessed with daughters every ten years to keep Themysciran society thriving, the Queen's yearning for a daughter of her own only got stronger, until one day, her wish was granted. Blessed with a daughter of her own, Queen Hippolyta raised her little girl the way she felt would benefit her most. However, something on the island is troubling the young Princess Diana into questioning her role within her respective society, leading her to disobey her mother's rules and actually explore the island outside of city walls. What she finds outside the city not only piques her curiosity and frightens her, but brings her into contact with possibly the second most important person in her life: the warrior Alcippe!
